When Do I Need to RSVP By?

What Do I Do if I Can't Make It?
Answer
You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the destination wedding, please still let us know as soon as possible. We still would like a response if you are not attending so please follow the RSVP directions by clicking the RSVP tab in the menu above. Thank you!

When Should I Arrive?
Answer
Guests are free to arrive from Wednesday (10/23/24), Thursday (10/24/24) or morning of wedding day Friday (10/25/24). Just to clarify, we do have Rehearsal Dinner on Thursday and Evening Wedding/Recpetion on Friday. You can RSVP for to those events on here!

Can I Bring a Date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your invite as well as when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are Kids Invited?
Answer
We decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event (the only exception are the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family). Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Can I Take Pictures During the Ceremony?
Answer
We are having an UNPLUGGED CEREMONY, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that ALL PHONES BE PUT AWAY & SILENCED. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer/videographer to be able to capture the best pictures/videos which we will share with you! Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

What Should I Wear?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception will be held at the same location at the resort. We will not be on the sand. For women guests: a light and flowy cocktail dress in breathable fabrics like chiffon or silk, paired with wedges or dressy sandals! Floral prints or bright colors for a festive touch (can be long or to the knee- whichever is more comfortable). If you don’t wish to wear a dress, dress or linen pants are completely fine as well with a dress shirt. For men guests: a crisp dress shirt with lightweight trousers or chinos, paired with loafers or dress shoes, and an optional blazer

What is the Dress Code?

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white. The ceremony & reception will be held outdoors at the same location.

Is the Dreams Resort Adults Only?
Answer
There are two resorts at this location. Dreams Vallarta Bay is a family-friendly resort, while Secrets Vallarta Bay is an adults-only resort. Please note that Secrets Vallarta Bay guests have free access to Dreams Vallarta Bay throughout their stay; however, Dreams Vallarta Bay guests cannot access to Secrets Vallarta Bay facilities or services during their stay, unless they purchase a day pass.

Is Transportation Available from Airport to Resort?

Yes! When you book your rooms on the other website (https://elysiasaidyes.destify.com/) there will be an option at the end to pay for transportation while you complete your booking process.
