This is the park we walked to on our first date. On a sunny day, you might catch us walking through it as we tour the bridges. Lots of good heron sitings.
We like Port Townsend. You can walk through the shops for fun. Eric could spend a while at the William James bookstore. And the In Between is a nice cocktail bar... if you can find it!
Do you like lighthouses? So does Eric! This makes a nice and casual beach walk and a little history lesson.
Fun fact: Eric had set wheels in motion to propose to Elyse on the summit of Green Mountain--but those were foiled. It still has a nice view, though!
We love KEXP, and their gathering space also has fabulous coffee. If you're going to the Space Needle or anything else at Seattle Center, visit this nearby attraction that Elyse and Eric love.
Poulsbo is cute--and you can get some mean pastries on the main street.
A hearty breakfast spot in Bremerton!
If you're more of a pastry and coffee morning person, we love this place!
Probably our favorite food on this side of the Sound!
A casual spot that would make a great place to wind down after a hike.
Great and funky spot for a breakfast or lunch!
Their tagline is "Coffee Days, Whiskey Nights." Sounds great to us!
A small but amazing bar for those planning to visit Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood.
