FAQs

Question

Where is your gift registry?

Answer

We do not have a registry. Your presence at our special day is all we request. If you would still like to give a gift consider contributing to our honeymoon fund.

Question

How is the drive from San Diego to Valle de Guadalupe

Answer

Once you cross the border, the drive to Valle de Guadalupe is approximately 1.5 hrs. There are two routes - one coastal and one more inland. We recommend the coastal route. The highway is all paved with many cars on the road.

Question

How can I expedite my border crossing returning to USA?

Answer

There are two types of expedited lanes to make your border crossing. 1) Sentri Lane; and 2) Ready Lane To use the Sentri Lane all vehicle occupants must be Global Entry members. You must also register your vehicle in SENTRI as well. The link below will take you through application process. NOTE this can be a lengthy process and it may take longer than 3 months. https://www.cbp.gov/travel/trusted-traveler-programs/sentri/how-apply-sentri To use the Ready Lane all vehicle occupants aged 16 or older must have an RFID-enabled card. US Passport cards and California Real ID's fulfil this requirement. See this link for more detailed information: https://help.cbp.gov/s/article/Article-1211?language=en_US

Question

Can I enter Mexico with my driver's license?

Answer

No. You must have a valid passport to enter and exit Mexico.

Question

Where should I get pesos for the trip?

Answer

Making an ATM withdrawal in Mexico is simple and straightforward. Otherwise we have found the most favorable exchange rates on the San Diego side of the border.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a welcome event early Friday evening, as well as an organized brunch on Sunday.

Question

Just how GOOD is this Sunday brunch gonna be?

Answer

People flock worldwide to eat La Dona's Mexican Breakfast. You will not regret spending a few extra hours in Mexico eating her tasty treats!!!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately we have a very strict cap on number of attendees. So we have implemented an easy and clear rule: No Ring, No Bring! We apologize for the inconvenience but hope you will still celebrate with us.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy casual; vineyard vibes.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We humbly ask for your RSVP by September 20th
