What is the Dress Code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional | Formal Attire. We would love for our family and friends joining us in dressing up for the occasion! Women are invited to wear floor-length, tea-length or midi dresses. For gentlemen, tuxedos or suits are recommended.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! We have rooms at the Midland Hotel, our reception venue. You can book with our special rate using the "Travel" tab.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

For the Ceremony at Old St. Pat's: the parking structure at 625 W. Adams is available for the duration of our ceremony. Please be sure to pull a complimentary ticket from the OSP branded parking box as you pull into the lot. For the Reception at the Midland Hotel: the nearest parking structure available is at 211 W Adams St. Chicago, IL 60606. We encourage you to utilize carpools and rideshares!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, our wedding will be an adults-only event with the exception of children who receive an RSVP.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures, which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

What should we do between the ceremony and cocktail hour?

We recommend using this time to freshen up in your rooms or check out the Things To Do page for our recommendations in the area!

What color is the bridal party wearing?

The bridal party will be wearing navy.
