FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with you! For our special day, we are asking guests to wear "garden party" attire. For men, this means button up shirts and slacks and ties or bowties. For women, this means flowy midi or maxi dresses, floral patterns, pastel jumpsuits, or elegant sundresses. Bright summer colors are welcomed! We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, but otherwise feel free to wear any other color that you love!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please check your invitation. If a guest is listed, they are invited!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Botanic Gardens. The ceremony will be held at the Fuller Garden, while the reception will be held at the Japanese Gardens Pavilion within the Botanic Gardens. Guests will need to walk from venue to venue.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Since the wedding will be in the beginning of the summer months and it will be outside, there is a chance that the weather will be a bit warm. Luckily, our reception area in the Japanese Gardens has lots of shade and covered areas. Gentlemen can feel free to not wear their formal jackets outside due to potential temperatures. Ladies, I recommend open toe shoes or heels if possible.

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We would love for you to unplug and be present in the moment with us. Our photographer will capture the moment for everyone!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

When it arrives, please check your formal invitation for all guests invited within your party! :)

Question

When do I need to RSVP by? What happens if I don’t RSVP by that day?

Answer

To RSVP, simply scroll over to the RSVP page and type in your last or first name. Your party will appear and you can proceed from there RSVPs will be closed on May 6th. If we do not receive your RSVP by that date, we will unfortunately be unable to accommodate you and your party as we need to send final numbers to all of our vendors one month prior to our wedding day. We will miss you!

Question

Can we post pictures on social media?

Answer

Take as many pictures as you would like post ceremony! We would love to see all of your fun reception pictures! The one thing we ask is to please not share any pictures of us, the Bride and Groom, until we have had the chance to do so first.
