Join us in celebrating...

In the summer of 2020, I had just finished up my Freshman year of college at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi and Joseph was in the midst of his program to become a Fireman at North Texas Central College. I had decided at this point that I wanted to be closer to home to continue my degree, but due to the circumstances of the world at the time, I decided to attend Tarrant County College for a year before transferring to UNT. Joseph and I both ultimately decided to turn to an app online to see what was out there during the summer. Meeting other people during the height of Covid was certainly not an easy task! Not knowing what to expect or if either of us would meet anyone we clicked with, we officially met in June of 2020 and started dating on June 26th when we were only nineteen. We lived about 30 minutes apart the first year of being together, with me living in a studio apartment in the house of my dear nanny family, who I consider my second family, and Joseph living in Argyle. During these days, I lovingly called him "Country Boy". (I had never heard of Argyle before the year of 2020! But, in all reality, Joseph grew up in Coppell). Throughout the next few years, I continued my schooling at UNT so we were able to be much closer to each other, and Joseph began his career as a Fireman in early 2022 as I finished up school and began student teaching. We truly got to watch each other grow into early adulthood and navigate all of the changes that come with it. Life had its seasons for the two of us, but love always has a way of bringing people back together. On June 14th 2025, Joseph asked the easiest question I have ever answered, and now we can't wait to celebrate the beginning of forever with all of you!
