FAQs

Question

What in the heck happens at a Catholic Nuptial Mass?

Answer

As with any Catholic Mass, there will be "the liturgy of the word" consisting of 3 readings out of the bible, and "the liturgy of the body" in which the eucharist (the true body, blood, soul and Divinity of Jesus) is consecrated subsequently received by practicing Catholics. Additionally in a Nuptial Mass we will make our marital vows and enter into the sacrament of marriage. You can expect the Mass to last a little longer than one hour.

Question

Can I take pictures during the Mass?

Answer

The Mass is a solemn and sacred ceremony. In order to maintain a prayerful and reverent atmosphere we ask that you refrain from taking photos, or using your phone for any other purpose. This includes the wedding party entrance and exit.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

YES! We love kids! They are beyond welcome at both the mass ceremony and reception! Just RSVP ;)

Question

Dress code?

Answer

The wedding will be semi-formal! Be comfortable, confident, and wear your best sundresses cocktail dresses or old prom dress! Perhaps even a nice button down your mother would pick out for you! :)

Question

When Should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible! We would love an RSVP no later then May 30th.
