Trent and I have known each other since elementary school. We grew up playing basketball together and as we got older, we built a friendship like no other. Trent has been one of my biggest supporters both in Grace and I's relationship, and our lives. He's one of the easiest people to talk to and the first person I go to when I need advice. Trent is like a brother to me and I'm truly blessed to have him in my life.

Marie Lucius

Marie is my big sister and best friend. She has made me an aunt to three BEAUTIFUL nieces that I love unconditionally. She is my #1 fan and the person that I go to when I need constructive criticism. I truly believe that God made us for each other. Marie has seen me in the most pure and raw moments of my life, and I find strength in knowing that she is my sister.

Joey Brandt

I've known Joey since the fourth grade, but we really bonded in band where Grace was unfortunately forced to sit in between us for five years. Because of this, Joey has always been the big teddy bear we've both come to love. Between his constant joking and pranks, he's been supportive in everything Grace and I have pursued and I feel blessed to have him as a friend.

Marlana Maiani

Matron of Honor

Marlana is my big sister, holding a whopping 14 years of wisdom over me. She is my guardian angel, and a mother figure in my life. A Bible verse that comes to mind when describing Marlana is Matthew 6:1-4; she has a giving soul and never expects recognition for it. I love you sis, and even though I don't say it often, I recognize the love, kindness, and compassion that you show to the world. You are amazing.

Devin Miller

Over the grueling hours of band camp, Devin and I became great friends and continued throughout college. From the countless meals in the union to the late night gaming, Devin has always been someone I can count on when I needed him most. As one of the most authentic and true people I know, I'm confident he will go on to do great things in life.

Megan Dodge

Megan was the first person I ever had a sleep over with. I am basically her honorary sibling and call her parents "mom" and "dad." I can always count on Megan to be there when I need her. She has a beautiful energy, with a skill to make a room full of people smile upon her entrance. Megan is a beautiful cocktail of fun and crazy and I wouldn't trade her for the world.

Nikos Portentoso

I met Nikos in elementary and we became close friends later in life. Little did he know that I would fall in love with his sister! Nikos is a genuinely great guy that always has me back when I need him and I appreciate the relationship we have. Even through the ups and downs of living together and taking Grace's side in arguments, he is still one of my oldest friends and I look forward to growing our relationship as it gains a new title.

Viridian Molotla

Viridian and I met in elementary school and have been best friends ever since. We are the type of friends that can go months without seeing each other, but when we get together it is like we haven't missed a beat. Viridian has a heart of gold. She is a skilled STNA and has offered her services to care for my Nany for the past 3 1/2 years. I am exceptionally grateful for her friendship and the compassion that she shows toward my Nany.

Lucas Williams

I knew of Lucas throughout high school, but only what could be read on a basketball scouting report. We formally met in college and spent most of undergrad together. We were college roommates for a year and even worked in a factory together. We nearly murdered each other after two consecutive 60 hour weeks, but clearly we prevailed. All jokes aside, Lucas and I have a friendship that will last a lifetime.

Makinzie Viola

When Mak and I met, she actually didn't like me because I was a "know it all." Turns out she is too and we are basically the same human! It's funny how life works out! We have very similar personalities, but compliment each other well. Makinzie is so kind to everyone she meets and is a friend that I look up to and aspire to be like. She has brought me closer to God and I am forever grateful for her love and kindness.

Conor Smenner

Grace's first college job was to provide personal care for Conor. Little did we know that he would become such an iconic part of our life. He has taught both me and Grace so much. He has opened my eyes to the lack of accessibility and inclusivity in the world and has shown us how to conquer adversity. Both literally and metaphorically I will carry Conor on my shoulders through this world.

Kellie and I bonded over a horrible group project in undergrad; she is madly skilled with PowerPoint animations. Kellie has a unique talent to be both the devil and angel that sit on my shoulder: she is always prepared to have a good time, but is exceptionally supportive when you need her. Kellie has an amazing and kind soul and I am blessed to have a friend like her in my life.
