In light of the surging number of COVID-19 cases and with all of our guests’ health in mind, we have made the extremely painful decision to limit attendance at our wedding to only those who are fully vaccinated. Thank you for your understanding.

FAQs

We are happy to answer any questions you have - just shoot us an email. We can’t wait to celebrate with you! ElsaAndSteven4Ever@gmail.com
Question

Do I need to be fully vaccinated to attend?

Answer

Yes. Out of concern for the health of all our guests, we are restricting our wedding celebration to fully vaccinated guests only. For your safety and ours, we kindly request that you decline our invitation if you are not fully vaccinated. We will miss you and know you are celebrating with us from afar. For those who are fully vaccinated and attending, please feel free to wear your mask as you please. However, we ask that you remain home if you are feeling sick. Be safe, be kind to yourself and one another.

Question

When do I need to let you know if I am attending or not?

Answer

December 1, 2021 Please use the RSVP tab on this website to respond. If you are not fully vaccinated, please select "Will Not Attend" when responding. Due to the potential for changes in capacity due to COVID-19, we highly encourage you to respond at your earliest convenience.

Question

Will children be allowed to attend?

Answer

No. We love your kiddos - we really do, but we want our wedding to be your night off! Adults only, please.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

No. Unfortunately due to capacity constraints, we must strictly limit attendance to those named on your invitation.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

No. We ask that you enjoy the moment and turn your cell phone off during the ceremony. Videography and photography will not be allowed during Mass as we have a great team handling that.

Question

Is there a dress code for the reception?

Answer

Yes. Dress to the Nines while Putting on the Ritz! Our reception will be a "black-tie" affair with floor-length gowns, formal cocktail dresses, and suits to ring in the New Year. Guys: Tuxes are always welcome! Dolls: Wear your pearls! Our theme is Roaring 20's: think Speakeasy, Great Gatsby, Harlem Nights, and Downton Abbey. Cocktail hour will be outside with patio heaters to keep you toasty. Bundle up!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the reception on social media?

Answer

Of course! We strongly encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels during the reception! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #PhilBrickHouse so all can enjoy your pictures and have evidence of the shenanigans!

Question

Are we counting down to midnight?

Answer

Yes! Elsa is looking forward to her first New Year’s midnight kiss as Mrs. Philbrick! Stick around and ring in the New Year with us!

Question

What about parking?

Answer

The church has plenty of parking. Reception parking is complimentary valet.
