On a cold November night in Dublin, two strangers met on a spontaneous outing. The setting? The iconic night club, The George. Daniel had just graduated from college and Elsa was having a girls night out. A few pints and several Dua Lipa songs later, we literally collided and Elsa spilt her drink on Dan's shoes. In an attempt to make amends, Elsa offered to buy the next round and the rest is history!

Summer 2023 was shaping up well and we booked a weekend getaway to Poland. We spent the first day of our holiday exploring Warsaw and all it has to offer. As the night was drawing to an end, a quick trip into a restaurant to use the restroom would be taken all too seriously and Elsa would literally trip down the stairs. To keep a long story short, this unfortunate pit stop would lead to Elsa breaking her leg and spending the next 5 days in the Warsaw general hospital. What was once a carefree weekend now involved playing card games in the ward and relying on google translate to get by with the nurses. This experience brought us closer together and has shown we can get through anything life throws at us. Prior to the chaos, Dan had been planning a romantic city proposal. However, before flying home to Dublin, Dan seized the opportunity and got down on one knee by Elsa's bedside and popped the question. We’ve now had 2 years to recover and plan this party so we can't wait to celebrate with our family and friends soon!
