This is a way of saying Thank You to everyone who's made it out here to the great state of Montana. This is a social for you all to get to know each other before The Big Day, for Emma's family and friends to meet Mike's over some great beer and better pizza. Food will be provided but please bring money for beer and wine.

We want to get the photos out of the way before the ceremony. It's a bit non-traditional, we'll give you that, but we want to enjoy our wedding without having to worry about photos right after. Instead, we'd rather hang out with you all during cocktail hour. So family and wedding party, please show up beforehand by driving yourselves. We'll take a ton of photos, Mike and Emma will cry, and then we'll have the ceremony.

What you're wearing to the wedding
To help you all get to the venue, we rented two school buses that will pick up at the Women's Mural bus stop on Broadway Street across from The BaseCamp. The first pick-up will be at 2:30pm, with the second at 3:15pm. The buses will actually not drive straight down Grizzly Gulch, but rather bypass the construction by taking Davis Gulch Rd to Unionville and then to the venue, which only adds 10 minutes instead of waiting in traffic due to the construction. There is parking for the bus pick up in the parking lot next to Park Ave, across from Park Avenue Bakery. Buses will then drive people back to town starting at 8pm, with the final buses leaving right after the dancing is done at 11pm. Check out the What Else Should I Know? page for more info.

This is it, gang. The big shebang, kicked off sharply at 4 o'clock with our officiant, Todd Peterson. For those of you dying of thirst, a keg will be provided during the ceremony.
Cocktails and Barbecue

Whatever you wore to the wedding + your dancin' shoes
Following the ceremony, beer and wine will be provided, with select liquors for sale. We'll mingle with all of you who have come near and far for our event. Dinner will start at 6 o'clock with homemade, Montana-style BBQ. For those who can't sit still, there will be yard games galore. At 7 sharp, we're gonna bring the house down and scare away any wildlife near the venue. Because that's when the DJ goes on and we expect each and every one of you to be on the dance floor with us. Get ready for some 90s hits (including Hanson), Emma's filthy rap music, Mike's 80's throwbacks, and possibly some Arms Wide Open (yes).

So turns out we can't party too late into the night at the venue, which is understandable knowing all of you. Luckily, most if not all of you are staying in downtown Helena so we're gonna take the party to Miller's and keep it going strong.

Swing on by Pioneer Park on Last Chance Gulch to tell stories from the day before. There will be bagels, muffins, and OJ provided. Sadly, alcohol isn't allowed, so we'll pop on over to Blackfoot right across the street around noon or so.
