FAQs

The Wedding Website of Grace Elrod and Ryan Ildza
Question

Where do I park at the reception?

Answer

We highly recommend taking the free Kansas City Streetcar for a true Kansas City experience, or catching a uber so you can travel worry-free. There is also metered street parking available within two blocks of UNION. I have also provided a map above of parking garages nearby that are $10 all night.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will indicate whether you can bring a plus one. If it does not unfortunately, we do not have room for others.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Men - A suit & tie or a blazer with slacks. Women - A long evening dress, formal cocktail dress, or dressy pantsuit.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, on this website under the tab Registry!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Even though we love your kids, this is an adult-only party! So find a babysitter and use this as a fun date night with free booze and food!

Question

Why is there 3 hour gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Many Catholic churches schedule Saturday weddings in the morning or early afternoon hours to avoid the wedding running into afternoon confessions and Saturday night masses.

Question

What are we suppose to do in the Gap?

Answer

Many guests will use this gap to grab a pre-wedding cocktail or freshen up at their home/hotel before the reception. This time can be wonderful for groups that are reuniting with extended family or college friends. We will make sure to provide a list of restaurants and bars near the venue to go to during that time.

Question

Where do I RSVP at?

Answer

Once formal invitations are sent, it will have a website/QR code to RSVP to our wedding.
