Father of the Groom
Jerry has lived in Lake Forest for 35 years and has spent his career in the institutional real estate investment management business. Jerry is extremely supportive and involved in his children and grandchildren lives. He is the true definition of a family man and a role model for his family. He has recently taken up interior design as a hobby and is surprisingly talented after an extremely slow start.
Betsy Pasquesi
Sister of the groom
Betsy recently moved to South Bend Indiana with her husband Lane. Lane is an integral part of modernizing the 100-year-old Claeys Candy Company to keep up with demand. Prior to being married to Lane and a mother of her two boys Jackson (9) and Teddy (4); Betsy spent her career in the Art and Entertainment business working for Sotheby’s in New York and Universal in Los Angeles. As the oldest child in the Claeys family, Betsy has done an excellent job of keeping her siblings humble. She has been a great role model and has an amazing sense of humor.
Matthew Claeys
Best Man
Matt is one of the most outgoing children in the Claeys family. At an early age, he spent a tremendous amount of time in the principal’s office due to his energetic personality and unfortunate medical condition that prevents him from sitting down for more than 3 minutes at a time. He’s an avid golfer, skier, paddle boarder, tennis player and placed second in the whistler camp of champions saucer sledding. Matt is the father of 3 beautiful children Isabella (13), Tyler (12), and Giorgia (9) and has spent his career in commercial real estate.
Katherine Claeys
Sister of the groom
Katherine is one of the kindest people you will meet in Chicago. She truly exhibits Midwestern values with her honesty integrity and hospitable personality. She currently works for the Chicago White Sox as a manager in Corporate partnership activation; Chicago’s only Major league baseball team (National League triple-A teams don’t count). Katherine grew up in Lake Forest and currently lives in the Old Town neighborhood downtown Chicago.
