Enjoy our home of Ridgway, the "Gateway to the San Juan Mountains" ** Order corned beef and hash at Kate's Place for breakfast ** Take a scenic drive and/or hike out Owl Creek Pass ** Bike around town (our buddy Nate has a bike shop with cruisers to rent) ** Shop for unique vintage finds at The Vault (our friend Sally's shop) ** Get out on the water at the reservoir (rent a SUP or motorboat, swim, or picnic)
the "Outdoor Recreation Capital of Colorado" ** Hike the Perimeter Trail and don't miss Box Canyon, Cascade Falls, and the Ice Park which becomes a magical winter playground ** Soak at the Wiesbaden vapor cave and hot springs ** Climb the via ferrata (San Juan Mountain Guides rents lanyards) ** Grab a drink on the Imogene rooftop ** Our favorite stores: Ouray Bookshop, Kristopher's Culinaire, Gator Emporium
Spend a day around Silverton. It has some of the best wilderness access and epic scenery! ** Rent a 4x4 UTV and rip around the mountains (we recommend Rock Pirates). Perfect for getting up high without slogging on your feet ** Hike Island/Ice Lakes or Highland Mary Lake which are iconic alpine lakes in the area. ** Take the Old Hundred Mine tour and ride a mine cart 1/3 mile into a mountain.
Check out Telluride, objectively the most beautiful box canyon ever :) ** Grab croissants at Butcher and Baker ** Ride the gondola for grand views ** Have a beer at Telluride Brewing ** Take Last Dollar road back to Ridgway for a scenic drive
Monday! Our local rodeo is Labor Day Monday! Don't miss some mutton busting
Enjoy Ouray via horseback. Elly used to guide for these guys. Plus they're next door to our old place. Yeehaw!
Friday 10-3 Go see some of our farmer's market friends and grab a breakfast burrito to fuel your morning from Ladybird Bakery. (Telluride's Farmer's Market is also on Friday's)
Soak and hang in some beautiful gardens at Orvis. It is clothing optional! Say "hi" to our horses on your way (they're across the street)

We have booked the park for the whole weekend. There are 9 holes of frisbee golf, walking and biking trails, and amazing views. You're welcome to hang out there any time.
