Needs no introduction, the Milwaukee Art Museum is an amazing place to visit. Even if you don't go inside, there's plenty to do nearby on the lakefront, even if its just site seeing and going for a walk. The Burke Brise Soleil ("wings”) opens at 10 a.m., flaps at noon, and closes when the Museum closes. While the Burke Brise Soleil has a wingspan comparable to that of a Boeing 747-400, its two ultrasonic wind sensors automatically close the wings if the wind speed reaches 23 mph or greater.
