The dress code is Beach Formal. Think elevated, but in comfortable, breathable attire. For men, lightweight suits in breathable fabrics like linen are a great choice. Lighter colors are perfect (but not required), and ties are completely optional. For women, we suggest formal floor-length or midi dresses, or a dressy jumpsuit. Bright colors, soft beach tones, and fun prints are all welcome. To help maintain the overall look and feel, we kindly ask guests to steer away from very casual pieces like sundresses, shorts, flip flops/sneakers, etc.. And please, no Hawaiian shirts (we’re looking at you, Big Red 😉).
Early to mid-October in Cancun offers a warm, tropical climate. Expect daytime highs in the upper 80s with evenings cooling into the low 70s. While brief showers are possible, most days are sunny and beautiful.
The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting) on a rooftop terrace. You will be in the sun, but there is a nice breeze to help stay cool. The reception will be indoors in an air conditioned venue.
While exact costs will vary depending on your flight, room type, and length of stay, we want to give you a general idea of what to expect. We have a discount for all of our guests so pricing shown on the resort's website is not what you will be paying. For a three night stay, excluding airfare, we anticipate the cost to be about $600 per person. To help you save, we recommend booking flights early, using travel rewards or credit card points if available, and considering shared accommodations with friends or family. We're happy to answer any questions or help connect you with others who may be interested in rooming together!
Guests will be responsible for their own flight and accommodations. The resort is fully all-inclusive, which means that once your room is booked, everything else is taken care of—meals, drinks (including alcohol), and most on-site activities are all included in your stay.
We recommend a minimum of three nights (Thursday, October 8- Sunday, October 11). However, many guests are already planning to stay longer and turn this into a full on vacation.
Room booking can be completed through our VIP Travel Agent (Lindsay's Dad). Please refer to the google form below for all resort and booking information. https://forms.gle/63nhcmEMJZ5pHDQs7
No! See the schedule tab for any planned events. Otherwise, we want you to treat this as a vacation. We will send out a group message with what we are doing each day, and you're always welcome to join. Do your own thing and enjoy your time however you want.
The resort is quite large, but walkable. However, if you don't feel like hitting your daily 10,000 steps, there are both golf carts and small boats that can take you to different parts of the property.
Please complete your soft RSVP as early as possible to help facilitate our planning. A formal RSVP must be completed by August 1st. Formal invitations will be sent out closer to that time.
You must have an active passport. Ensure your passport will remain valid for at least six months beyond your planned travel dates, as many countries restrict entry for passports nearing expiration.
Nope! Our house is already bursting at the seams—unless you want to gift us a storage unit, we’re all set. We want to focus on quality time with our friends and family.
After exploring many options, we chose a destination wedding because we believe it offers the most meaningful experience for everyone. We’re incredibly grateful to our friends and family who are traveling to be with us, and we understand the time, energy, and expense that go into making the trip. Our hope is to turn this celebration into a mini-vacation for everyone; one where we can spend quality time together and create lasting memories with the people we love most.
We understand destination weddings are a big ask. There's no pressure to attend! Your love and support matter most, whether you're here in person or in spirit. We'll toast to you and look forward to celebrating together another time.
