Holiday Cottages

There are plenty of holiday cottages, glamping pods and other alternatives to hotels in the area (though we have listed some hotel options below). When searching on Airbnb or similar sites, these are the areas that are best for proximity to the venue: Chathill, Tughall, Swinhoe, Newton, Embleton and Beadnell. However, if you are happy to travel slightly further afield, Seahouses and Bamburgh are perfect if you're planning on staying a few days.

Doxford Barns is just off the A1 - a beautiful coastal journey if you are coming from up North!

Flight

Newcastle International Airport

The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport, but Edinburgh Airport isn't terribly far either!

Train

Alnmouth Railway Station

It is possible to get the train from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Newcastle, London and other major UK cities to Alnmouth, which is a twenty minute drive to Doxford Barns.
