A strong contender for the most beautiful beach in the area, complete with castle looking over the cricket pitch. It's where we got engaged so we might be biased!
We love a sunset walk along Beadnell Bay. Beadnell Bay is also great for a dip in the sea, if you dare!
A pint and a cheese toastie for under a tenner?! Rebecca highly recommends the crab sandwich if you're feeling a bit fancier. The pub is set on a very lovely secluded beach.
Best pub in Seahouses, possibly anywhere.
Best fish and chips in the area. Remember to ask for scraps!! Also, they do gluten free in case you were wondering!
For if you fancy a cocktail by the fire, or a (very reasonable and incredibly tasty) Sunday roast after the wedding.
If you're in the mood for Michelin-recommended seafood and wine, look no further. Rebecca recommends the mussels and lobster; Elliott recommends the steak... This is where we celebrated our engagement!
If you're looking for decent coffee then your best bet is Pilgrims on Holy Island - a drive away from the wedding venue, but worth a stop (and on the way if you're travelling to/from Scotland)! Plus the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is quite cool (though remember to check the tide as you don't want to get stuck there!).
Try not to lose your ball in the hole over the North sea. Fantastic seaside golf course with views for days.
Gorgeous views of Dunstanburgh Castle. If you visit, look out for Alan Shearer as its his home course!
Ross Sands is a breathtaking sandy beach just north of Bamburgh - its a bit of the walk from the car, but we promise you, you won't be disappointed.
A personal favourite of Elliott's.
