If you haven't been to Boise, it could be worth spending a night there before or after the wedding! Boise is one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S. and features a vibrant outdoor bar scene in the pedestrian friendly downtown area positioned in between the Boise River and the foothills. (Enjoy it but don't move there!) We've found pretty reasonable rental car rates (about $30/$40 a day) We will make a private Facebook group where we can coordinate ride shares. Many of our Boise friends will likely be able to give our out of town friends rides--they are VERY friendly. The Boise airport is more or less on the way out of town towards Ketchum. Let us know if you want to be added.

There are two route options driving from Boise to the 4H camp. 1. Longer/More Scenic Route (3h 42m): Take Hwy 55 north from Boise, then head east on Hwy 21 through Stanley, ID, then take Hwy 55 south over Galena Pass, and down the Wood River Valley. 2. Shorter Route (3h): Take 84 to Mountain Home, ID then take 55 north towards Ketchum. ***If you are going to Ketchum (not the 4H Camp) from Boise, it is an hour shorter to drive the 2nd route through Mountain Home*** We recommend definitely driving through Stanley, ID for at least one leg of your journey!

This is a very small airport and is usually more expensive than flying into Boise, but is only a 20 minute drive from Ketchum. Rental cars are available steps away from the airport. As an added bonus, it's a pretty view coming in to land!
