Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Natalie Green and Elliot Kuhlman
This page is Elliot's personal guide for out of town guests as well as an ode to his favorite wilderness playground, the great state of Idaho! Seventy percent of the Idaho is public land! This makes for a wildly rugged, untamed, and massively undeveloped landscape. The topography varies greatly as you travel from the Snake River plains up to the craggy peaks of the Sawtooth Wilderness. Teeming with geothermal activity, Idaho offers everything from solidified lava fields to bubbling hot springs. We hope you enjoy exploring Natalie's home state and some of the spots that sparked Elliot and Natalie's adventurous relationship. In addition to the activities listed, we generally just recommend most hikes in this area as it is surrounded by the Pioneer, Boulder, Smoky, White Cloud and Sawtooth Mountains. At the very least, definitely take a drive up to Galena Pass! Feel free to contact us for questions or suggestions.
Sawtooth National Recreation Area

Sawtooth National Recreation Area

Stanley, Idaho

It's definitely worth checking out Stanley, ID, the jumping off point for adventures in the Sawtooth Mountains. Go hang at the beach at Redfish, Stanley, Alturas, or Pettit Lakes! Or take a day hike from numerous trailhead access points into the Sawtooth Mountains. To combine both, take a boat ride across redfish to access a day hike trail head (https://redfishlake.com/marina/).

Hot Springs

Hot Springs

Somewhere..., Idaho

Idahoans are rather... protective... of their hot springs. With a little research, determination, and adventure you can be rewarded with a delightfully sulfuric soak in mineral enriched waters!

Days of the Old West Rodeo

Days of the Old West Rodeo

Hailey, ID

This is THE quintessential small town rodeo. This buckin' good time usually runs from Friday-Monday. Tickets sell out, so you'll probably want to get your tickets ahead of time. On the 4th, fireworks usually begin right after the rodeo. To make it a complete day, start at noon in downtown Hailey for the best parade in the west! We'll update the link once information for 2022 is added.
