Things To Do

Madcap Coffee Company

98 Monroe Center Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Looking for a spot to grab a cup of coffee or tea? Madcap is a Grand Rapids staple, and some of the best coffee in the country. It's founder, Trevor Corlett, is a nationally recognized barista!

MDRD

187 Monroe Avenue Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Fancy yourself the best craft cocktail in town? Perhaps a nightcap? Look no further than the top of the Amway. The service is unparalleled, the cocktails are top tier, and the view of the city is the best in town. It's a Leah and Elliot favorite!

San Chez A Tapas Bistro

38 Fulton Street West, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Brunch anyone? San Chez has a bustling atmosphere, mimosa flights, and tapas!

Butcher's Union

438 Bridge Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49504

Located just outside of downtown, Butchers Union is all about comfort food and atmosphere. The portions are great, the service is always solid, and the prices are right. Oh, and it's delicious!

Brewery Vivant

925 Cherry Street Southeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49506

Leah will tell you, it's the best beer in town. Located in a trendy neighborhood in an old funeral home, they specialize in Belgian beer. While it might not be her go to for food, you absolutely cannot rival the brews if you're just looking for a cold one!

Founders Brewing Co

235 Cesar E. Chavez Avenue Southwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

It's quintessential Grand Rapids...we are "Beer City USA" after all. If you like IPAs and you've never been to the Founders HQ, take advantage! Grab a pint and a sandwich in their casual taproom. Fun Fact: Leah once lost a bet to Stevie here and had to ask a bite of a strangers sandwich. Even weirder, he gave it to her.

Grand Rapids Children's Museum

11 Sheldon Avenue Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

Bringing kids? Check out the Grand Rapids Children's Museum right downtown!

Grand Rapids Art Museum

101 Monroe Center Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

The GRAM is quiet, beautiful, and always changing with new exhibits. Also right downtown!

Vault of Midnight

95A Monroe Center Street Northwest, Grand Rapids, MI 49503

A seriously awesome comic book store. You'll find books, board games, and comics (duh). It's right across the street from Madcap and totally worth popping in if you're taking your coffee to go!

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park

1000 East Beltline Avenue Northeast, Grand Rapids, MI 49525

This will require a drive or an Uber, but a great option if you're looking for an affordable, all ages activity. It's a world renowned garden and sculpture park with both indoor and outdoor exhibits
