Hike & Light Lunch

11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us for some exercise before the big day! From the Junction Creek Group Picnic Area (15 minute drive from downtown Durango), there is a lovely out-and-back hike on the Colorado Trail with a great view, covering approximately 3 miles and 1000 feet of elevation gain. To hike with Jill and Elliot, meet at the Junction Creek Group Picnic area at 11am. Alternatively, take a scenic drive up from the Group Picnic Area to the Animas Overlook. This is a 30 minute drive one-way up a well-maintained 2WD dirt road and offers some incredible view points of the Animas River Valley. Light lunch and soft drinks will be provided at the Picnic Area during the duration of the event.

Wedding

4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Cocktail Attire. Bonus points for fun outfits: Sequins, sparkles, bright colors, we're having a party!!

Our Wedding Ceremony will begin at 4pm, followed by drinks, dinner, and dancing! Please arrive at River Bend Ranch before 4pm, around 3:30. The Ceremony will be outside on the lawn, at the same location as the reception. Shuttle information can be found under the "Travel" tab. If you decide to leave your car at the venue overnight, you must retrieve it before 9am, there is a church service held at the venue on Sunday mornings that we should do our best to not disrupt. If before 9am is not possible, you may pick up your car after 11:45am, but please call the venue first (970-335-8877), as the gate will be closed and locked.
