Hike & Light Lunch

Join us for some exercise before the big day! From the Junction Creek Group Picnic Area (15 minute drive from downtown Durango), there is a lovely out-and-back hike on the Colorado Trail with a great view, covering approximately 3 miles and 1000 feet of elevation gain. To hike with Jill and Elliot, meet at the Junction Creek Group Picnic area at 11am. Alternatively, take a scenic drive up from the Group Picnic Area to the Animas Overlook. This is a 30 minute drive one-way up a well-maintained 2WD dirt road and offers some incredible view points of the Animas River Valley. Light lunch and soft drinks will be provided at the Picnic Area during the duration of the event.

Come join us for an after-dinner drink on us to kick off the weekend! 11th Street Station also has a great selection of food trucks available if you're looking to get a bite beforehand.
