Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire for our wedding is Black Tie Optional. This means guests are welcome to dress formally, but a tuxedo or evening gown is not required. Men can wear a dark suit with a tie or bow tie, and women can opt for a long dress. Think elegant and polished, suitable for a formal evening celebration!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive at 4pm! Please note that our ceremony (weather allowing!) will be outside on a lawn between the Inn and the Lodge.

We love your kids! Unfortunately, our reception is 16+

How far from the Woodlands Hotel is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

You can expect a 20 minute (very pleasant walk through Colonial Williamsburg) from the Woodlands to the Lodge.

We have a block of rooms at both the Woodlands and Lodge.

Are there shuttles available?

Answer

Shuttles are available from each hotel, however, the Inn and Lodge are less than a five-minute walk from our ceremony and reception area. The Woodlands is a 15-minute walk but shuttles run from the Woodlands to the Lodge if called (at the front desk.)
