Things To Do

We can't wait for you to explore some of our favorite places! Please note that the Madison Tour of Homes and the SEC Championship are taking place the same weekend so downtown Madison and Athens will likely be busy!

Madison

Madison Tour of Homes (highly recommended!) - We will link tickets here when available! Restaurants: Hart & Crown, The Sinclair, Betty Gene's, Crowe's BBQ, Farmview Market, Madison Produce Co, Town 220 (Dinner), The Dining Room (Dinner - Prix Fixe menu with wine pairings) Shopping: Zeb Grant Home, Madison Grace, In High Cotton Spa: Pure Bliss Spa & Shop Outdoor Activities: Lake Oconee, The Creek Golf Course at Hard Labor Creek, Georgia Safari Conservation Park

Athens

Downtown Restaurants: FIVE Bar, Chuck's, Last Resort Grill, The National, The World Famous, Athens Bagel Company, The Globe, Little Italy (perfect for a late night snack!) Other Restaurants: Cali-N-Tito's, ZZ & Simone's, Five and Ten, The Expat, Marker 7, Fully Loaded Pizza (Tanner's fave) Bars: Athens has the most bars per capita of any city in the United States, so if you are looking for a cheap drink to watch the SEC Championship, you can't go wrong walking into almost anywhere you see downtown. Personal favorites from college are Paloma Park, Woodford, Silver Dollar, and Cutters. For a bit of an elevated experience (still plenty of barking, but your drink may be in a glass), we recommend Creature Comforts, Bar Bruno, Georgia Theatre Rooftop, Hyatt Place Rooftop, All Good, or The Root! Golf: University Golf Course, Lane Creek Golf Club Campus: If you have never been to Athens, we highly recommend a walk through campus or down Milledge Ave to see all of the sorority houses!
