Question

How do I know if I am invited to the ceremony?

Answer

Due to limited capacity in the church, our ceremony is invite only. Those invited will receive a separate insert in their invitation and will have the ability to RSVP on the website for the ceremony. Everyone else will join the bride and groom directly at cocktail hour at the Collins Residence - we can't wait to celebrate with you then!

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! Shuttles will run from downtown Athens to Madison on Saturday. Please come back closer to the date of the wedding for exact pick-up times and locations. There will also be parking available for those who would prefer to drive themselves. Please do not rely on Uber / Lyft as there are typically none available in the Madison area.

What is black tie encouraged?

Answer

We would love for you to dress up in your best attire to celebrate with us! Tuxes are encouraged for the gentleman, but if you don't own one, a dark suit and tie is a great alternative. For the ladies - please note that most of the reception will take place on grass, so please keep that in mind when choosing a shoe!

What will the weather be like during the weekend?

Answer

Weather in Georgia is extremely unpredictable, but based on temps in past years, we are preparing for it to be fairly chilly (low 40s to high 50s). Our tent will be heated for dinner and dancing, however the cocktail hour is completely outside, so please be prepared to bring a coat or wrap to stay warm!
