Maid of Honor
Alli and I have had the best times together over the years. We were friends in high school but didn't get super close until these last few years. Alli and I were roommates this last year down in Long Beach, California and we became inseparable. We are so alike in many ways- it's almost scary. (I mean I'm marrying her brother, what do you expect?) Al is the most giving person I know, she has the kindest heart and gives the best advice, she's the type of friend you can count on any day, any time. I'm so lucky to have a best friend who is now literally going to be my sister! Eeek!
Bridesmaid
Brittany and I met when we were freshman at Washington State University. We lived in the same dorm building and had a mutual friend who was actually her roommate. Brittany and I became instant best friends-and I mean instant! Britt is the most genuine, kindest, funniest, and nurturing person you will ever know. College was a whirlwind and I'm so thankful I was able to go through my college years with Britt. She is so amazing (literally anytime she comes up in conversation I say "Britt is the most amazing person in the whole world" because it's so true) I am so grateful she's able to be by my side on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Katie and I have been such close friends from a young age. We went to elementary, middle, and high school together. Therefore, we literally grew up together- from going through the weird phases, traveling for volleyball tournaments, going on fun vacations, visiting one another in college, etc. Having a friend like Katie that you can count on through anything is just so special and I am so thankful to have had her by my side all these years and the years to come! Katie is warm-hearted, thoughtful, and has the most amazing laugh- she'll be sure to light up any room she's in. I feel so honored that she is able to stand beside me on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
Emma and I met during rush week and we ended up in the same sorority. We went to all of the sorority events together and got super close when we lived in Theta together. Emma and I shared a two-man which was probably the size of a medium sized couch. It was tiny! There are so many great memories I have living in that shoe box of a room with Em. Emma is hands down the funniest person I know, she is not afraid to be herself and will do anything for the ones she cares about. I am so thankful to have Emma as one of my bridesmaids!
Bridesmaid
Kristian and I have become really close over the last couple years. When you're marrying a twin you can only hope that the other twins' wife and you will become close. I don't have to worry about that with Kristian because whenever the four of us are together I typically spend more time with Kristian than Nate LOL. Kristian is one of the most compassionate people I know, she is so easy to talk to and we always have so much fun when we're together. I love how supportive and easygoing Kristian is. I'm lucky that we already have so many fun memories together and I can't wait for more to come now that I finally have a sister!! I'm so glad that Kristian is able to stand by my side as one of my bridesmaids!
Best Man
Anyone reading this hardly needs an introduction to this man because if you know me you know him. My identical twin brother and best friend. Life wouldn't be the same without him and I don't know if I could even live without him. There is too much to write about Noah so I'm keeping it short. Grateful to have him as my best man and brother.
Groomsman
I grew up with Walt even before elementary school, grew up in the same neighborhood right across the alley from each other, we played water polo together from a young age and shared an affinity for the water. He is as loyal as they come, once you're a friend of Walt's there is no going back. He was the only friend I stayed in touch with from Long Beach when I moved up to Bend. I value our relationship immensely and am thankful we were able to have this time together in Cape May in the Coast Guard. He also is someone I am encouraged and inspired by in terms of his faith and I can trust his counsel. Walt really has transcended the friend relationship as many as the guys in my groomsman party have, but none more than Walt. He really is a brother of mine.
Groomsman
The next three guys I’m going to talk about and affirm are the greatest of friends I made when I moved to Oregon. In hindsight, I see how God was working in these new friendships he brought into my life. Quinn may not think so but he is truly humble. You’ll never hear him talk about himself. He rather just listen and laugh with others. I share so many of the same interests as Quinn, we really are on the same wave length in so many ways. He is adventurous as they come and anything outdoors/nature related I want him there. I’ve never met someone who dislikes Quinn as he is so easy to get along with. Quinn is unapologetically Quinn and I love that about him.
Groomsman
Getting into a laughing fit with Adam is one of my greatest joys. We get laughing so hard sometimes we can’t breathe and start tearing up. We really started to connect on a deeper level because of our shared Christian faith. We strive to be better and still do to this day as accountability partners. My first mission trip at 18yrs old to Ethiopia and second to Nicaragua years later both with Adam will forever be highlights in my life. He has this drive about him that is infectious and we share similar life goals and dreams. He is a role model in many ways too in how naturally he has taken to being a husband and father first before the rest of us.
Groomsman
All these guys are funny in their own ways and make me laugh but Ben might just overall take the cake. Ben comes from one of the greatest family's known to mankind and you can totally tell he is a product of that. It rubs off on everyone else who hangs with him. Ben will get along with anyone and similarly to Quinn you won’t find someone who dislikes him. He is truly so hospitable and thoughtful. Ben is such a good person and man that even though I haven’t been able to hang with him nearly as much, after graduating high school as I would have liked to, I knew I wanted to hold onto our friendship for a lifetime and I always hope one day we’ll live in closer proximity to each other again. You can’t have a groomsmen party without Ben Peters it just wouldn’t be right.
