Although we love your children, we regretfully cannot accommodate them at the venue due to restricted numbers. If you plan to bring your children to Stanley, please let us know if you need help finding accommodations or nanny services. We are also happy to answer any additional questions you have.
Yes! Transportation will be provided for guests staying in town or at private cabins, with service to and from the rehearsal dinner on Saturday evening and the wedding on Sunday evening. If you prefer, you're also welcome to drive yourselves.
Boat day at Redfish Lake: bathing suits / beach clothes Dinner at Foofie's Farm: whatever you are comfortable in - it will be very casual Rehearsal Dinner: "country casual" meaning jeans & cowboy boots or a casual sun dress Wedding: "western cocktail" meaning nice dresses for ladies and suit jackets for men. Bolo ties encouraged :) but please no blue jeans.
All wedding events will be held on grass or dirt so pack appropriate shoes (nothing you would be too upset about getting dirty!). During the day the weather is generally warm (70s-80s) and dry. The sun is deceivingly strong so pack sunscreen and sun layers if needed. At night, temperatures drop significantly, often into the 30s, so bring layers! If you plan on hiking or horseback riding make sure you pack appropriate clothing: hiking boots/sneakers/closed toed shoes, sunglasses, hat etc. There will be opportunities to swim (at Redfish Lake, in the river, and in the hot springs) so pack a bathing suit if you wish. Don't forget your cowboy boots, hats, bolo ties and other western wear you have - now is your chance to wear them!
Yes! Your RSVP will ask about any dietary restrictions, and all event meals will provide diverse alternatives so that everyone can enjoy the fare. If you'd like to communicate anything beyond the RSVP, please just reach out to us.
