Hiking or Tram ride in Sabino Canyon
If you have time we suggest going to Sabino Canyon. It is a bit of a drive from downtown (40 minutes) but well worth the time if you have it. There is a tram you can take to the top of the road and back (you can get on and off but be sure to know the tram schedule). Lots of different types of trails available. But easiest would be to just walk the paved road into the canyon. It is absolutely beautiful!
Take a Drive through Saguaro National Park West
About 30 minutes west of downtown is a beautiful drive through more saguaros you've ever seen in your life! There is a visitor center you can stop at. Several hiking trails to choose from if you'd like to add a hike.
Pueblo Vida Brewing Company
Really good local beer. Close to hotel. One of Josh's favorites.
Cup Cafe
Fun local Downtown restaurant/bar at a historical (and allegdely haunted) Hotel Congress. Food is great and usually a fun music atmosphere.
Charro Steak & Del Rey
One of the best restaurants downtown. Very authenic sonoran style steak house/seafood.
Corbett's
Just outside of downtown, walking distance. Fun fact- Kade asked Josh & Galena permission to marry Ellie at this very place (while Tate and Kyle were in the truck waiting :)). Great food, fun atmosphere if you want to watch a game, pickleball courts. All around good time.
The Monica
Downtown. Great Breakfast, fun lunch. Casual.
Shopping on North 4th Avenue
4th avenue is very eclectic has fun/funky shops and cool restaurants/bars with AMAZING people watching. Walking distance from downtown.
HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery
Restuarant below our ceremony location. Great lunch or dinner. Fun cocktails. Delicous ice cream!
Reilly Craft Pizza and Drink
Downtown. Delicous pizza, beer garden, speakeasy in the basement....really cool place.
Cartel Roasting Co
Great local coffee shop downtown. Walkable from hotel.
La Encantada
High end shopping. About a 20 mintue Uber ride north of downtown.
Tumamoc Hill Hiking Trail
Need to get your heartrate up and see the city? Hike to the top of Tumamoc Hill! Amazing views and great workout. Add in Mercado for a delicious breakfast at Seis.
Mercado
Modern inspired Sonoran market place with coffee shop, bakery, restaurants, and shops. Just west of downtown. Seis is our favorite for breakfast.
Side Car
Unique craft cocktails. Great place to stop for a drink before or after dinner. Just outside of downtown.
