Our ceremony will be held on August 22 at First Baptist Church of Savannah, beginning at 5:00 PM. A reception will follow in the Salzburg Ballroom at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District.
Please arrive 30 minutes prior (4:30 PM) to be seated before the ceremony begins.
Our dress code is formal, black-tie optional. We invite men to wear suits or tuxes, and women to choose floor-length dresses or chic jumpsuits. Please, no jeans or white dresses or jumpsuits.
We do not recommend parking in downtown Savannah unless necessary, as parking meters are enforced on Saturdays in the Historic District and nearby street parking cannot be guaranteed. If you choose to park near the ceremony, we suggest looking for street parking around Chippewa Square (where the ceremony is located) or Orleans Square. For guests attending both the ceremony and reception, we recommend valeting your car at the JW Marriott Savannah Plant Riverside District and using Uber or Lyft to travel to and from the ceremony for a more seamless experience.
We will have one trolley available to pick up our guests at the JW Marriott, and the same trolley will make one run back to the hotel once the ceremony concludes. Otherwise, we recommend that you use a car service such as Uber or Lyft to the ceremony and reception. For those who would prefer to walk, the ceremony venue is a 15 minute walk from our reception venue.
The closest airport is Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV), located about 25 minutes from Savannah’s Historic Downtown District, where both our ceremony and reception will take place. We have reserved hotel blocks at the JW Marriott Plant Riverside District at a special rate for our guests. You may call the hotel directly or visit our Travel tab and click the provided link to book your room.
We’ve created registries at Fête, Weezie Towels, Crate & Barrel, and Williams-Sonoma. For additional items not listed on those sites, please visit the Registry tab of our website.
