Matron of Honor
1999 - Ellie and Mia met at Temple Bat Yahm, the only shikshas at the Jewish preschool. Mia approached Ellie as she reminded her of her favorite Disney princess Ariel, and when Ellie came home she told her mom about the girl with pretty blond hair and blue eyes just like Sailor Moon! Through everything; elementary, middle, high school, and college, hard moments and wonderful ones, Mia and Ellie have been together. In 2019, Ellie witnessed Mia's beautiful wedding to her husband and now Ellie could never imagine celebrating her wedding without her lifelong best friend by her side.
Maid of Honor
2005 - Ellie met Amelia only a few months after she was born, because these two girlies are cousins! Almost exactly 10 years apart and with their moms being such close sisters, it’s no surprise the cousins formed a close big and little sister bond. Their friendship grew even stronger when Ellie moved up north for college, only a 45 minute drive from Amelia! While Ellie attended Amelia’s elementary concerts, guitar performances, and prep for school dances, Amelia witnessed Ellie navigate college. These two have been through so much together and now Amelia will stand with Ellie on her wedding day not just as a cousin, but as her soul sister.
Matron of Honor
2015 - Ellie and Bella meet at Sonoma State in Choreography I class. When Bella walked in with her bleach stripe racing through her dark hair, black cat eye sunglasses, and swinging a giant fluffy purple keychain, Ellie knew it was love at first sight! Forming an instant bond, the girls grew through college, casting and performing in creative works. When they weren't in the studio they could be found at Ellie's apartment drinking wine, eating pie from Sherri's, and gossiping. Ellie stood beside Bella in 2023 when she took her vows and now Bella will be standing beside Ellie as she recites hers.
Bridesmaid
2021 - Ellie and Jessica met during their first term of nursing school at West Coast University. Through the difficulty of school, pushing each other to finish care plans, get through 12 hour night shifts, and constantly talking on the phone, a tight bond was formed. Now, both working as RNs, Ellie can thank Jessica for getting her through nursing school, she honestly doesn't believe she could have done it without her! Ellie and Jessica walked across the stage together at their nursing school pinning ceremony, and now Jessica will stand beside Ellie during this next exciting step in her life.
Best Man
Connor and Trevor met in 1996 when their parents brought Trevor home after being born. Since then, Trevor’s legacy as Connor’s best man has extended far beyond just a role in a wedding ceremony. As the younger Pratt brother, he and the groom have been through just about everything one could imagine together. Trevor’s integrity, compassion, and honesty shine brighter than nearly any other man his brother has known, making him a perfect fit for the role. A literal knight in battle-tested armor, Trevor Pratt is the perfect example of not only what a best man should be, but how an ideal younger brother presents themselves. Connor is unendingly grateful that his only brother could be beside him on his wedding day.
Groomswoman
Connor and Vivian met shortly after she was born in 1995, and despite the efforts of time and geography, their bond has remained strong throughout everything. She is the closest thing Connor has to a sister, and he frequently refers to her as such in passing conversation. A consummate Aries woman, she is a force of nature, a delightful philosopher, and an endless pool of support. She is also known for her poetic acts of “Words of Affirmation” and can usually be found emotionally devastating her closest friends with compliments and support that renders them to tears. Connor had served as a bridesman to Vivian at her own beautiful wedding, and is delighted to be returning the honor at his own nuptials.
Groomsman
Connor and Tom met in 2012 as they performed together in two back-to-back productions at the former Repertory East Playhouse in Newhall, California. Upon first interactions, the two instantly seemed to click, and Tom’s role as a mentor/older brother character seemed inevitable between the two. Much like his own *actual* brother, Tom’s heart of gold and fierce loyalty shone through over the years of their friendship. Connor knows that he can always count on Tom for a laugh, some quick wisdom, and a great whiskey recommendation (sometimes in the same breath!) These are merely a sampling of the reasons as to why Connor has selected Tom as one of his groomsmen, and hopes that after meeting Tom at the ceremony and reception, it is easy for everyone else to see, too.
