2014 - Connor and Ellie first met during Ellie's freshman year at Sonoma State. The two shared a class including both dancers and theater majors. Over the next two years, both would admire the other from afar. Connor working as a stage hand for Ellie’s dance shows; Ellie attending several nights of Connor's plays. At a cast party during Connor's senior year, the two finally had a true one on one conversation and exchanged Instagram handles. 2023 - Years had passed and Ellie posted about attending a dance performance in Long Beach. Confused as to why she didn't live in the Bay Area anymore, Connor responded. After days of back and forth playing catch up, the two decided on a dinner date one month away after Ellie took her exit exam for nursing school. During their first date at Muldoon's Irish Pub in Newport Beach, both Connor and Ellie came clean about their collegiate crushes on each other and to be honest...the rest is history from there! 2024 - Connor and Ellie moved in together in Newport Beach, just a stones throw from where they had their first date! During this year, the couple traveled to Chicago, Kansas City, Moro Bay, and multiple trips up to Northern California. They attended weddings, family reunions, events and concerts, all the while falling more in love. By the near end of the year, November 23rd to be exact, Connor proposed! On a weekend trip to NorCal, the two walked around their alma mater. In front of the very theater that started it all, blanketed in candles thanks to Ellie's college best friend and her husband (thanks Bells and Chris), Connor got down on one knee and of course Ellie screamed YES! 2025 - Now the couple is delightfully planning their wedding with their families! Otherwise, when Ellie isn't working at UCI Fountain Valley in the labor and delivery unit as an RN and Connor isn't either at his job for the city of Costa Mesa or working on his second Bachelor's Degree, they can be found walking their Schnoodle Dodger around the Back Bay, cuddling up with their kitty cat Finnegan, cooking together, watching the latest movie releases, and always listening to their favorite music on a vintage record player.
