Katie and Ellen met at a Portland State Russian Club meeting and became fast friends. They love to spend time with each other cooking, being weird, acting strange, and checking out Russian markets in Oregon and Washington.

Taylor and Ellen met at Kings Point. Taylor is the deckie to Ellen's engineer. They were inseparable at school, to the point where people thought they were sisters. Taylor was Ellen's rock during her time at Kings Point and they continue to love and support each other even through distance.

Lexi and Ellen met on the Portland State club lacrosse team, and were known as the dream team on the field. They lived together in college and co-parented a handsome lizard, Chandler.

Evan and Ellen met at work. They hired in at the same time and quickly became friends. Evan's sense of humor always keeps Ellen on her toes, and they have greatly enjoyed trivia nights at the local watering hole.
