Travel Note

Flight
We suggest flying into Florence (FLR), Rome (FCO), or Milan (MXP). Florence’s airport is smaller and you need to take a connecting flight, so you might find a more cost effective flight into Rome or Milan—and don't worry, trains from either city get you to Florence in under 2 hours! If you fly directly into Florence, getting to the city center is simple: you can take a tram ($3), a taxi (~$30), an Uber (~$60), or even pick up a rental car. Happy travels, and we can’t wait to see you in Italy!
Train
If you plan on taking the train, there are many daily options to Florence from Rome or Milan. Duration of trip varies, but typically 1.5-2 hours. The main train stations are: - Rome: Roma Termini - Milan: Milano Centrale - Florence: Firenze Santa Maria Novella

+39 055 4390 Easily call ahead and make a taxi recommendation or call when you need it. Also, there is an app that you are able to download in the link. More economical and available than uber in Florence.
Travel Note
We suggest staying in or near Florence’s historic center. The map above highlights the area within walking distance of the Welcome Party and the shuttle to the venue - but feel free to stay wherever you like it is a VERY walkable city and taxis can be easily booked ahead of time! Our welcome party will take place at Obicà Firenze (16 Via dè Tornabuoni, Firenze, Toscana 50123, Italy) which is right in the heart of the Historic City. Please note that buses are not permitted within the historic city limits, so shuttle transportation to the wedding venue will depart from Florence’s main railway station, Santa Maria Novella. Florence offers a wide range of accommodations for all budgets - Some recommendations below!
Travel Note
