It’s official folks!

We met through a mutual college friend our final year of college in 2015. It still amazes us that we had never officially crossed paths until our last year at MSU because of our mutual ties! There was something about the timing that was sincere serendipity. It didn't take us long to realize that we were incredibly compatible and we only truly hangout a few times before we decided that this was it. It was our first "date" (I put that in air-quotes because I truly had no clue if it was a date or I was a crazy lady.) I invited Eric over to watch the Wild game after class on a Friday night - and he was quick to say yes. I remember being more nervous than I had ever been and decided that a brew or two might help. I bought us a pack of "big butt dopple-banger" - and yes that really is a Leininkugels Beer selection. We sat together drinking this ridiculously named beer and both of us just looked at each other and laughed at how bad it was. We agreed, almost in unison, that the beer was just what we would think BEER would taste like. For whatever reason, we thought it was hilarious and that night is still reminisced on. That was it, we knew we could spend time together comfortably and soon we knew we were falling for each other. Shortly after we started dating and graduated. We moved back home - Eric to Brooklyn Park, me to Woodbury. That didn't last long. We were used to being close and soon moved into our first place together in Stillwater. We fell in love with the town and even more in love with each other. I cannot tell you how much fun we had sharing so many firsts together - a bat, a few laundry room floods, the neighbors and many more. In August of 2017, we got engaged in another home away from home - Chicago. We spent a few nights in a luxurious hotel on the Gold Coast and talked endlessly about what our life would bring. It was incredible! Cheers to many more memories and celebrating all of those with our people - YOU!
