Lake made his arrival to Avenue City Elementary in the 3rd grade. I considered him a friend, but it wasn't until middle school when our mutual love for the video game "Destiny" led to the brotherhood we now share. For 15+ years Lake has been the friend I can goof around with, share theological conversations with, and trust he'll always have my back. I'm glad to call Lake my true brother from another mother.

Rylee is my older sister. From childhood memories to helping us plan this special day, she’s been by my side every step of the way. Even though she can drive me absolutely crazy, I’m so grateful to have her standing beside me as I marry the love of my life!

Mack is honestly just a random kid who became one of my best buddies. He was a last-minute recruit for an intramural basketball season when we first met. We soon became the Mahomes-Kelce duo that the flag football competition feared. Sports aside, Mack is one of my most loyal friends who would do anything for me. Plus Elle likes to make fun of him, so he's great to have around!

Corinne is my soon to be sister-in-law. From the first time we met, she welcomed me with open arms and made me feel like family. I can’t wait for the memories we will continue to make as we become sisters for real!
Connor Root

Connor and I met in either the 4th or 5th grade, where we became teammates on the best tournament basketball team in St. Joseph, the Fusion. We remained close friends through high school and for all 4 years in college. From rap battles, bread nights, hoop sessions, and everything in between, Connor has always been a loyal friend who's never let me down. Additionally, he’s a slightly obsessed human sports encyclopedia.

Sydney is one of my life-long friends. She has offered love, laughter, and endless support through it all. I was grateful to stand by her side as she married her soulmate, and I can’t wait for her to do the same for me!

Zack and I technically went to high school together for three years, but somehow, we didn’t meet until college. We connected through marketing classes and quickly became friends, especially as we served together as leaders in college Younglife. I’m incredibly grateful for Zack’s friendship, his honesty, and his heart for serving the Lord. I’m honored to have him standing by my side this November.

Ashley was my very first friend—we met when our sisters became friends in preschool, and from there, our bond grew. Some of my fondest memories are from the countless hours we spent dreaming up big ideas and getting into all sorts of mischief with our sisters. I’m so thankful for her friendship, her big heart, and all the moments we’ve shared over the years.
