Hayden and I first met through a management class we took during our sophomore year at Missouri Western. The business school at MWSU was pretty small, so we had seen each other around and always sort of had a mutual interest. Before long, we were both lingering before and after class, attempting to catch each other for a quick conversation as we walked to and from our cars. Our story began when Hayden asked me to play on his intramural sand volleyball team with his friends. After our first official date at Culver's and several ice cream runs, we knew for certain this could be something special. After a few short months of spending every second we possibly could together, we knew we were in love (he said it first). For the next two-ish years, our relationship only grew stronger. The hundreds of memories we've made have been some of the most blessed and cherished years of my life. From uncontrollable laughter to food binges, car concerts, vacations, and coffee dates, we knew we would spend the rest of our lives together. In November of 2024, Hayden proposed to me in the most perfect way. He had coordinated with my friend Kenzie who took me on a "girls date" to Weston for coffee and a hike. Unbeknownst to me, once we got to Weston State Park, Hayden appeared from behind a tree, leading me to a beautiful lookout spot where he had set up a decorative table. He had laid out a series of puzzle pieces, and as I pieced them together...the message was clear: "Elle, will you marry me?" (I said yes). There are no words to describe how excited we are to begin our next chapter as husband and wife. We have truly been blessed with each other and all of the support we've received from family and friends. We look forward to celebrating with all of you on November 29!
