Los Angeles International Airport

Expect about a 25 minute drive from LAX to the Redondo Beach area. If you're taking a rideshare (Uber/Lyft), please note that LAX requires all pickups except for Uber Black to happen at the LAX-it lot, which is a separate location from the terminals. You'll need to take a free shuttle or walk from your arrival terminal to LAX-it, then request your ride from there. This adds about 15-20 minutes to your pickup time, so we recommend planning for 45-60 minutes total travel time from landing to arriving in Redondo Beach. Rental cars and taxis can be picked up directly from the terminals if you prefer to skip the LAX-it process. Please allow extra time for LAX's size and potential weekend traffic.

A convenient alternative within walking distance of the reception. We're hoping most of our guests will join us at the Portofino to keep the celebration going, but the Sonesta provides a comfortable option if our room block fills up.

For those seeking vacation rentals, the nearby Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach areas offer great Airbnb options within 10-15 minutes of our venues. The Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach and Beach House Hotel in Hermosa Beach are also excellent upscale alternatives.

Travel Note

Getting Around

The South Bay area is easily walkable, especially around the harbor and pier areas. Ride-sharing is readily available throughout Redondo Beach and neighboring Manhattan Beach. Both ceremony and reception venues offer parking, and most local attractions are within a short drive or bike ride.
