We are two Midwesterns who followed our athletic dream leading us both to Oklahoma State. Running into each other (yes, literally) and sparks flew! Both looking back for a double take, we locked eyes for the first time. The rest was history, as one week later we were wrapped around each other's finger! Here we are, seven years later . . . on our way to the mountains and down the aisle!

We escaped the Michigan winter for our favorite place, Breckenridge, Colorado. We met Alex’s older brother, Andy and our sister in law, Dani for a weekend of adventuring. We planned to get some brunch and then head to the mountains for a snow capped hike. Next thing I know, we reach the top and start to take pictures. The view was incredible. I look over at Alex and he has tears in his eyes as he starts to give me the speech of a lifetime followed by him getting down on one knee. I fell to my knees saying YES in disbelief it was actually happening. After, I couldn’t do anything but take in the moment for our the whole ride home. I walk into the AirBNB ready to call my family and I hear “SURPRISE!!” Standing there is my older sister Chloe, and two of my best friends who watched Alex and I’s relationship grow - Kathryn and Taylor. It was truly a dream come true (and I am still wondering how they all pulled it off!)

Our wedding will be at Northstar Gathering, located at 9000 ft in the Rocky Mountain foothills. It is truly a picture perfect venue to say “I DO!!!” We can’t wait to be surrounded by our family and friends, traveling in from all over the United States. We want our wedding day to be just like us - fun, carefree and full of love! Here’s to #HePutDieRingOnIt - July 1st, 2022!
