Our wedding will take place on Saturday, July 11th 2026. The ceremony will begin at 5 PM, with cocktail hour and reception to follow.
Our ceremony and reception will be held at: Occidental at Xcaret Destination Camino a Xcaret Carretera Federal Chetumal - Puerto, Avenida Benito Juárez, 282, 77710 Playa del Carmen, Q.R., Mexico The venue is on the property and is called Charmed Tree.
It is recommended all wedding guests book their stay at the Occidental at Xcaret Destination. Please book your stay through the Room Block https://share-na2.hsforms.com/1UXG48h9USfyVuEFqFH6rpw40exb2 The Room Block will end on February 8, 2026. Please be mindful of booking early, as room rates/availability are not guaranteed after this date.
We recommend all guests fly into Cancun International Airport. The airport is about an hour drive from the resort.

Yes! All guests will need a valid passport to join us for our special day. Please do not delay applying/renewing your passport, if needed. Currently, passport applications are averaging four to six weeks. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/need-passport/apply-in-person.html
We kindly request that all guests plan to arrive on or before Thursday, July 9th. We hope everyone will be able to enjoy the resort for several days leading up to the celebration. Guests are welcome to arrive earlier in the week, should they wish to extend their stay.
Attire is semi-formal. Guests are welcome to wear light, breathable fabrics — dresses, dressy separates, slacks with a button-down or polo. Jackets and ties are optional. Please avoid anything too casual like jeans, flip-flops, or beach cover-ups. Ladies, please avoid full length dark brown dresses.
Yes! We will have a full dinner and an open bar at the reception.
Please be mindful of cell phone use during the ceremony. We are fine with a small amount of cell phone photography during the ceremony. Please do not stand or disruptive professional photography/videography.
Occidental at Xcaret Destination is a kid-friendly resort. Children invited to the wedding will be named on the invitation.
If your invitation says "and guest”, you’re welcome to bring a guest. Otherwise, we hope you understand!

For specialty restaurants, men require long pants, a collared shirt, and closed-toe shoes, while women can wear casual dresses, nice shorts, or pants with a blouse. For the international buffet and the seafood restaurant, the dress code is more casual. Beachwear and swimsuits are not permitted at any dinner restaurants.
If you are interested in dining at an a la carte restaurant at the resort, reservations can be made during check-in.
