Matunuck Oyster Bar
Liz and her mom came here about 6 ago and ordered the oyster trio. Ross and LIz came here last year and ordered the same thing...DELISH! The oysters come from their own Matunuck oyster farm, and they offer tours if you are interested in learning more about aquaculture! It is about 45 minutes away from the venue.
Block Island
Block Island is an absolutely breathtaking island with 17 miles of beaches and spectacular bluffs that look straight out of California! You can rent a car, or you can experience the island like Ross and LIz did by renting a bicycle! The ferry to Block Island is about 45 minutes away from the venue, and very close to Matunuk Oyster Bar.
Newport
Newport is an incredible city with old world charm. Go explore the shops along Thames street, or visit one of the many mansions that the Astors and Vanderbilts called "summer cottages"! If you are interested in a little exercise, the Cliff walk allows you to enjoy the sounds of the waves while gazing at the incredible mansions. Newport is about 1 hour away from the venue.
