Bobby and Elizabeth’s love story began at Walt Disney World in the spring of 2014. As avid fans of everything Disney, it is no surprise that their story together would begin behind the castle at the Magic Kingdom, where Bobby was introduced to Elizabeth at work, but was too shy to say much of anything then…and for the whole year that followed, too. Truth be told, Bobby actually had a dream about kissing Elizabeth and telling her he missed her - and at a point where the two had barely even SPOKEN to each other. This dream spurred Bobby on to take the risk of letting himself fall for someone, tell Elizabeth about his dream and that same night, the two of them found themselves slow-dancing at a piano bar and walking along Disney’s Boardwalk hand-in-hand. The night ended with a goodnight kiss (on the cheek) as Bobby dropped her back off at her family’s hotel…but with these new feelings emerging between the both of them as they parted ways, they ended staying up all night. Bobby wasn’t sure at the time, but it was that rush of excitement and happiness that comes with meeting someone you could see yourself falling in love with that had kept him up all night. Elizabeth was leaving for home in New York the next day, but not without one more moment with Bobby. The two shared their first kiss before she left - and just like that, she was gone, but that didn’t stop their relationship from deepening and growing, regardless of how far apart they were. Distance would become a theme as the two continued their romantic relationship. While Bobby lived in Florida and Elizabeth pursued her long-winded veterinary school education, being apart never seemed to falter the love growing between them. New York, Texas, Africa and years of school in the Caribbean - distance may have been an obstacle, but it couldn’t stop the love they had for one another. Rather, the distance placed between them made their love for one another stronger as it traveled farther. It has been eight years now and the two have settled down in Florida, with two puppies, many trips to Disney and growing together as a couple. The two got engaged aboard the Disney Wish in the summer of 2022 with both of their families there to celebrate. We are excited to celebrate and share this next part of our love story with you!
