FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal or Cocktail. This is a good website explaining dress code: https://www.brides.com/story/wedding-dress-code-explained We request colors being worn be brighter shades of pink, purple, blue, and green. Please no black or white as it is a wedding. Florals are also welcomed. If you are unsure if your outfit is appropriate please reach out and ask.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media, as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images.

Question

When and where can I take pictures?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. We will have a wonderful photographer and videographer during the ceremony and reception. During the reception phones are allowed as are videos and pictures, but we would rather everyone be in the moment and not taking pictures the whole night.

Question

Are younger kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the young children in the wedding party at our wedding. Thank you all for understanding.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 1 pm. We are asking for people to arrive by 12:30 pm and to be seated by 12:45 pm so we can start promptly at 1pm.

Question

I'm not Catholic, what should I do during Communion?

Answer

You can either remain in your pew during Communion, or you can go up to the priest with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing instead of the Eucharist.
