Fish Creek Provincial Park
For our outdoorsy, nature-loving friends and family! Our wedding venue is actually in this park - a huge provincial park right in city limits! Lots of trails.
The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland
Take in a bit of local culture and history at The Confluence (previously known as Fort Calgary). Patrick and I visited this with friends on our trip to Calgary in 2024.
Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre
A very cool interactive music museum! There may also be concerts or events of interest. Located downtown. Great idea for families!
Calgary Public Library
This recent addition to downtown Calgary is an amazing architectural gem! If you are into cool buildings and libraries, definitely stop in a take a look!
Inglewood Bird Sanctuary
For a nice nature walk close to downtown, Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is great! This was one of Elizabeth's favourite spots when she lived in Calgary.
Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo
There is always lots to see at the Calgary Zoo! Located near downtown.
Calgary Farmers' Market South
This is within walking distance from the Sandman Hotel and Suites!
Banff
