Our Story

Rewinding back to late March 2020: World shut down. Workers were sent home for a “brief” remote work period. Uncertainty and anxiety about a global pandemic had upended normalcy. Obviously, it was the perfect time to dive into the local dating pool. Enter: Hinge, Liz, and Ozzy. It's now November. After a few weeks of witty banter via Hinge and eventually text exchange, Ozzy boldly suggested an in-person date. Liz, whose social interactions for the last seven months had been next to none, cautiously agreed. The first date ended in hours of conversation and laughter, and they were the last customers to leave the restaurant. Ozzy then needed to come up with a plan for a second date. Luckily, Manchester United was playing that weekend. The plan was fool-proof. They would watch the soccer game together, Manchester United would win, and Ozzy would win over Liz's heart. Did they win? Liz has no clue. But a second date turned into a third, which turned into years of adventures together. As they say - the rest is history. Dating in a pandemic presented unique challenges (ask them how many times they've had to quarantine from each other), but also offered an incomparable opportunity to learn about each other on a deep and authentic level. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love & support as we celebrate our next chapter together.

The Proposal

6.26.2024

Picture this: On a warm summer night, you're sitting on a balcony in Greece with a glass of wine, gazing out at the illuminated Parthenon. You're with the one person in the whole world you want to spend this moment with. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a ring. He kneels next to you and says, "I want to do this forever, with you."
