What is the dress code?
Answer
We encourage you to get dressed up and feel fancy for the night! The dress code is formal attire. For women this may mean long dresses or jumpsuits, for men a suit or tuxedo. Cocktail hour will be held in an area with gravel; please choose shoes accordingly. Please refrain from casual clothing such as jeans, shorts, tennis shoes, and t-shirts. We also ask that you abstain from wearing colors typically associated with the bride such as white, cream, ivory, etc. Need some visual inspiration? Can I bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Are kids invited?

Respectfully, this will be an adults only celebration (18+). We appreciate you making arrangements for your little ones (including any infants) ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us!

Is there transportation to/from the venue?
Answer
If you plan on drinking, we ask that you utilize rideshares to make your way to the wedding. Transportation will be available to bring guests back to downtown Durham following the reception and will be dropping off at 21C Museum Hotel (111 N Corcoran Street). Please indicate if you plan to use the provided transportation on your RSVP so that we have adequate seating available. Please note that rideshares typically do not come out to the venue late at night. If you would prefer to drive, parking is available directly next to the venue. Cars cannot be left at the venue overnight, as there will be a wedding the day after ours and we will not have access to the space. Please, do not drink and drive!

Will the event take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and cocktail hour will both be held outside, with the reception taking place indoors. In the event of inclement weather, a tent will be present to protect from rain.

Will there be a bar?
Answer
Yes! Beer, wine, and liquor will be available throughout the evening. A specialty cocktail will also be available during cocktail hour. In addition to alcoholic beverages, non-alcoholic options will also be available.

When is the RSVP deadline? What happens if I do not RSVP in time?
Answer
The deadline to RSVP was Saturday, August 24th, and has now passed. We are no longer accepting RSVP's, and appreciate your understanding.
