Amazing Mexican food. The carne asada burrito is just meat and guacamole. The carne asada fries are amazing. The building is only the kitchen, so there is no indoor seating. There are only a couple of picnic tables out front. There is another Papa Chevo's in Seaside, but the rumor is it is not as good.

Another cute restaurant in Carmel. P.S. It has so many pictures of Clint Eastwood because he was mayor of Carmel-by-the-sea at one time. His most notable achievement as mayor was making it once again legal to consume ice cream on city streets.
Monterey Bay Aquarium
It is expensive but lives up to the hype.
Cannery Row
Historic Cannery row, lot's of cute shops and restaurants on the water.
Fishermans Wharf
More cute shops and restaurants on the water. And all the clam chowder samples you can eat.
Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
It's a bit of a drive, but the park has beautiful cliff views of the ocean and lovely hiking trails.
Carmel Beach
Very dog friendly. From the beach, you can walk up Ocean Ave, the main drag of Carmel-By-The-Sea. This is a different beach from Carmel River State Beach.
