Absolutely. There is plenty of parking at the venue, with clear signage to help you find your way. One less thing to think about—just park, follow the signs, and come join us.
We love your little ones, but this celebration is just for the grown-ups. Consider it our gift to you: get a sitter, dress up, have a cocktail, and enjoy a very well-deserved night out with us!
Yes, we will have an open bar for all of our guests to enjoy complimentary drinks throughout the event.
Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!
However your heart desires! Send back your RSVP card—we’ve even paid the postage—or RSVP right here on the website. Carrier pigeon is also acceptable, although we cannot guarantee timely delivery.
We have a plan! Rain or shine, the celebration goes on. We’ve made sure everyone will be comfortable and covered, so leave the worrying to us and bring your dancing shoes.
Absolutely—in fact, we hope you do! We’ll have a QR code linked through our wedding website so you can share all the moments you capture with us. We only ask that phones be tucked away during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present (and our photographer can do her thing!). Once the ceremony is over, cameras out—we want to see our wedding through your eyes, too.
Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations.
We did not block out rooms, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable.
Absolutely. Please let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can make sure you’re well taken care of. We are incredibly lucky to have Elliott’s on Linden in Southern Pines catering our celebration. They are known for exceptional food, beautiful presentation, and the kind of thoughtful hospitality that makes a meal feel like an experience. We’ve planned a generous variety of dishes with them, so there will be plenty to choose from—and we have a feeling no one is going home hungry. If you have a specific allergy or dietary need, just tell us. Elliott’s wonderful team will help us make sure there is something delicious waiting for you, too.
We’re doing things a little differently! Cocktail hour begins when you arrive. You’ll be welcomed with a cocktail and a small bite while the wonderful Nicholas Rhodes serenades us on saxophone. Settle in, mingle, and enjoy the beginning of a very special evening—we’ll take care of the rest.
Oh, there will be dancing. We’ve entrusted the dance floor to the incredible crew at Five Star Entertainment, whose DJs know exactly how to turn a great party into an unforgettable one. Come prepared to stay awhile, lose track of time, and make some questionable decisions on the dance floor. Comfortable shoes strongly encouraged. Rhythm entirely optional.
We’d love to see you dressed up! Cocktail attire is perfect—think suits, beautiful dresses, and whatever makes you feel fabulous for an evening of cocktails, dinner, and dancing. Our celebration is wrapped in the colors of autumn—deep greens and navy, rich plums, soft apricots and peaches, with touches of gold. There’s absolutely no need to dress to the palette, but if you’re looking for a little inspiration, we’d be delighted to have you play along. And, of course, no one has ever gone wrong with a fabulous little black dress or equivalent! Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel wonderful—and choose your shoes knowing we fully intend to keep you on the dance floor.
Plan to arrive at 5:00 PM. We’ve planned a little something for you to enjoy before the ceremony, so this is one wedding where arriving early is part of the fun. Seating for the ceremony will begin at 6:15 PM. Come at five, grab a cocktail, settle in, and let us take care of you from there.
A little of both! Weather permitting, we’ll begin the evening with cocktails on the front lawn. Our ceremony will take place in a beautiful open-air chapel, and the reception will flow between indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the evening. Late October evenings can have a little personality, so a light wrap or jacket isn’t a bad idea. And don’t worry—we have a rain plan. The party is happening no matter what Mother Nature has in mind.
