The closest airport to Charlevoix is Traverse City. It is about a 1-hour drive to Charlevoix once you arrive. There are plenty of car rental services.

If you would rather fly cheaper and then drive, you can fly to either Detroit (DTW) or Grand Rapids (GRR). The drive from Detroit is about 4 hours, and Grand Rapids is about 3 hours.
