If you’re looking for comfort off-site, these are two excellent hotel choices each about a 30- to 35-minute drive from the resort: Hotel Porto Real (Rodovia Rio-Santos Km 457, Mangaratiba – RJ) offers private transfers on request, and Portobello Resort & Safari (Rodovia Rio-Santos Km 434, Mangaratiba – RJ) includes a shuttle/transfer service for an extra fee. Both are well-reviewed and very easy to access from Rio’s airports. Want more room to relax, socialize, and maybe save some money? Staying in an Airbnb nearby is often a fantastic option—especially for groups. Around Mangaratiba you’ll find full homes or beachfront apartments with multiple bedrooms, full kitchens, balconies or terraces, shared living spaces, and sometimes pools. Based on current local rates, many of these cost around R$ 565/night on average (~ US$ 110–120), which for a 4-night stay split among 4 people comes to roughly R$ 1,420-R$1,800 total, or about R$ 350-450 per person. That gives everyone more space, shared time, privacy—and often better value than booking individual hotel rooms. Getting to the Resort

We are working to organize a round trip shuttle with resort concierge for guests that will be staying at the resort. This would be complimentary from the Rio Airport to Club Med. The ride takes about 2 hours. More details will be shared closer to the wedding. RSVP by 01/25/2027 if you plan to stay at the resort and would like to be included in a shuttle service! The shuttle is optional—guests are welcome to arrange their own transportation if preferred. For those who’d like more flexibility, rental cars are available at GIG Airport starting at $30/day. Passport
All guests traveling from outside of Brazil will need a valid passport to enter Brazil. Make sure your passport is not expired and will remain valid for at least six months after our wedding weekend (around November 25, 2027). If you need to get a US passport or renew your US passport, click "view" to get to the application website- in most cases the whole process is online!
