Brian has been best friends with Lizzie for as long as anyone can remember, or at least as long as he can. Having officially ratified their bond on a horse-drawn carriage ride in Old Sturbridge Village, New England's largest living museum, the two have been each other's source of comfort, confidence, and comedy for twenty years. Brian has been so excited to get to know Jerrod over the past few years. A caring man with a passion for aviation and a general tolerance of cats, he is basically all the things Brian could want in a life partner for Lizzie. Brian is thrilled to call Jerrod his friend, and he can't wait to third-wheel the bride and groom for many years to come.

Lizzie and I had a real enemies to lovers arc. Working at competing utilities, fighting for higher savings. But Eversource vs UI couldn’t stop us from being together. Eventually we had joint projects to work on, which led to after work hangs, which let to workout dates and girls nights out, led to trips away, and eventually led to loving [sic] together (oh yeah and then Jerrod moved in too). I’ve done it all with Lizzie, from hospital visits to christmases at the lake. Her and Jerrod have become my family and I can’t imagine having a better husband and wife ❤️

I met Lizzie back in 2019 while we were in the same graduate program at Yale. That’s three girls trips ago, countless dates and boyfriends ago, a whole business degree ago (for Lizzie), and two cross country moves ago (for me). Thank goodness for Dungeons and Dragons - how we met- and solo living while in graduate school because the pandemic would have been entirely lonesome without her and our shared love for watching movies, cuddling with Minnie (RIP), eating fried chicken, and playing video games. There’s still no one else I’d rather Overcook with ❤️

Lizzie and I became friends as kids swimming and exploring around this lake, and more than two decades later, she’s still one of my favorite people. I can’t imagine growing up without her! From those early adventures to all of life’s ups and downs, we have always been there for each other. I am so honored to stand by Lizzie and Jerrod in this meaningful place on such a special day.
